University of Macau Students' vision of Happiness: Wong Wai Man WISHING TREE

This is a wishing tree. Lots of people make their wishes here. They write down their wishes on the wishingplacards and throw to the wishing tree. This is a traditional Chinese culture. I come and make wishes here every Lunar New Year. I feel happiness when I take part in this ritual, and I think everyone surrounding me also feel happiness here at that moment.

This is another photo I toke during Lunar New Year. This stamp was given by my niece. I felt happy and warm, when I got it. This two Chinese characters “加油” mean good luck, try your best, keep it up, etc. Actually, my niece just 3 years old and does not understand these characters. She just imitated her teacher to give the stamp for reward. But it seems to give me power to fight for my future.
